7. Does the Videographer have back-up equipment? Keepsakes has 2 back-up video cameras. THE #1 REASON NOT to have a friend take on the massive responsibility and work of videotaping your wedding day. It is critical for a wedding videographer to have at least 16 hours or more of cordless battery time for the zoom lens cameras and for on-camera lighting. Most people do NOT have the investment for the numbers of batteries required, to power the camera all day, nor do they have more than one charger to recharge batteries fast enough to capture the first dance at the wedding reception. You don't want to run out of battery power during the vows, toasts, or first dance.
